Salt City Custom Framing was established in 2017 after building some frames for a white elephant gift. Our love of art and desire to provide affordable framing that can still break the traditional mold prompted us to seek out formal training in framing techniques and begin building a frame shop. Now, we’re a fully outfitted professional frame shop with the same machinery and capabilities of the big boys. The bonus, however, is that we can provide you with the one on one attention and care that you can only get from a local craftsman. We operate the shop out of our home in Bluffdale, and plan to open a traditional store front soon. Don’t let the residential setup fool you though. We’re often told that we take on projects that other frame shops are scared to do, and we are confident that our shop’s quality and capabilities rival e finest frame makers in the area.
Ben & Chelsea
Ben started Salt City Frames in 2017 and has been growing the shop ever since. He works as a firefighter by trade, and is working towards quickly building the frame shop into a full time career and retire from the fire department. Ben is known for his creative style and his boisterous personality.
Chelsea is who we reach out to when we’re stumped on a design. She’s known for her artistic approach towards arranging shadow boxes and her particularly good eye for color. If you want a frame that breaks the traditional mold, Chelsea is a great person to bring to the table.
Weighing in at only 5 pounds, Gianni doesn’t scare many intruders away, but he ‘s great at making people feel welcome when they visit the shop. He’ll probably meet you at the door, say hello, then disappear for the rest of your visit
